Thoughts on building better communication and the story of how we got here.

We're Just Getting Started and We Want You With Us

If you're reading this, you found us early. That matters more than you might think.

Pebble is a real-time voice coaching tool. It listens as you speak and gives you live feedback on your pace, your clarity, and the habits that quietly get in the way of how you communicate. This is day one.

Why we built this

We kept noticing the same problem. People would finish a presentation, a meeting, an interview, and have no real idea how they actually came across. They were guessing. Replaying moments in their head. Wishing they had slowed down, or paused, or cut the filler. But by then it was too late.

We wanted something that could sit with you during the conversation and help you grow in the moment. Not a dashboard you check afterward. Something live.

So we built Pebble.

"We're not building a tool that watches you. We're building one that grows with you."

Where we are right now

Pebble is new. Like, genuinely just getting started. You can practice with daily challenges, track your speaking patterns over time, and see exactly where you slow down, speed up, or reach for filler words.

But we have a longer vision. We want Pebble to become infrastructure for human communication. Something you use before a big presentation, during a job interview prep session, or just as a daily check-in with your own voice.

Always improving We're constantly improving transcription accuracy, expanding feedback signals, and refining the live session experience. Every update ships because someone told us what wasn't working or what they wished existed.

We need you to help us get this right

We can't build this without you.

That's not a platitude. It's the literal truth of how we're working. We're a small team and we move fast, which means we miss things. Our eyes are on the systems we're building, but your eyes are on the experience. Those are different perspectives, and both matter.

When you tell us something feels off, we look into it. When you wish a feature existed, we start thinking about how to build it. When you find a bug we didn't know about, that's genuinely gold for us.

What useful feedback looks like

We're not looking for long essays. Short and specific is perfect:

  • Something felt confusing or broken. Where did that happen?
  • A feature you wished existed. What problem would it solve?
  • Something you expected to work that didn't. What were you trying to do?

If you notice something, say something. We read every submission. Not a bot. Not a support queue. Us.

This is just the beginning

We're going to keep posting here as we build. Updates on what shipped, decisions we made and why, things we got wrong and fixed. We want you to see the work as it happens, not just when it's polished.

The goal is to help people become better communicators. And that starts with us being honest about our own process.

Thanks for being here at the start.

Bugs, ideas, friction. All of it helps. We read every submission directly.
